David Marriott is a partner in Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP’s Litigation Department. He focuses his practice on litigating complex disputes, regularly handling his clients’ most critical cases in the areas of antitrust, intellectual property, general commercial law and securities. Mr. Marriott has tried numerous state and federal cases, handled more than two dozen appeals and been involved in various forms of alternative dispute resolution. He is an Adjunct Professor at the New York University School of Law and a Lecturer in Law at Columbia University School of Law. He is also a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Bar Foundation.
Mr. Marriott has earned recognition from numerous professional publications, including being named a “Litigator of the Year” by The American Lawyer, “Trial Lawyer of the Year” and one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America” by Benchmark Litigation, a “Litigation Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal, a “Competition/Antitrust MVP” by Law360 and one of “America’s Top 200 Lawyers” by Forbes.
Mr. Marriott received his B.A. from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
